Join us for the Battle of the Books on Thursday, March 20th, 2025, at Harrison Middle School (time to be determined). Teams of four students will compete in trivia about this year’s Maine Student Book Award (MSBA) nominees.

Want to get involved?! While the official Battle of the Books event will take place next spring, you can get started now by reading books from the MSBA list. All the Maine Student Book Award Nominees can be found on Sora this summer for FREE! How fun is that?! Want to be even more involved? We’re looking for adults to act as coaches for Battle of the Books teams. This will be a small time commitment, likely meeting with groups of students before/during/after the school day 2-3 times in the winter/spring. It's a rewarding experience that can make a big difference in a student's life. Please fill out this form to express your interest!
